Kevin and I visited Lily on a few occasions after her beloved Alf passed away and we were amazed how upbeat she was, and firmly of the opinion he was waiting for her, but in the meantime she would have a good laugh! After my dear Kevin died, we shared many phone calls, and she was so much help to me, her wise take on berevement was so uplifting and again she helped me to understand that Kevin is watching over me and is waiting in the wings for me to join him, not quite yet hopefully! We had a great laugh during these calls, she was always interested in how i was doing, and was always wanting to know how my cat Teddy was doing!  It wasnt all about me I hasten to add, i was alway interested in what was going on in her life and her past.  Everytime i put the phone down on her i felt so much better about life. A remarkable lady.
